Next-Generation Clustered Heat Maps (NG-CHMs) are optimized for the interactive exploration of data matrices, especially large ones such as often occur in high-throughput molecular profiling studies (omics). Although motivated by biological applications, NG-CHMs can be used for any type of matrix data.
